Our Previous Events

Hello! LEC is back in 2021 and bigger than ever!
To kick the year off, we’re running a WELCOME NIGHT next Friday! We realise that a lot of new members may not know much about the club yet, so we’re going to start things off by running a quick little information session about our club and what we do. It’ll just be a short little presentation outlining what events we run, and how you can get involved!
After our information session, we’re going to launch into a language trivia (with prizes for the winners)! And finally to cap the night off, we’ll split off into breakout rooms where you can meet some fellow language hosts and committee members and hopefully play some games :))
Oh, and don’t forget to sign up for a membership! It’s COMPLETELY FREE this year 🙂 🙂

Who is the most knowledgeable about facts from around the globe?
All shall be revealed at LEC trivia night! Social distancing? No fear! There will be no uninspiring questions off an A4 piece of paper because we will be using two of our most beloved software, KAHOOT and ZOOM! (I bet you can’t name a more iconic duo! Haha, just kidding…unless?)
Since this is an online event, we recommend competing individually. Teams are optional but participants are responsible for organising their own communication platforms and splitting up prizes…Oh did we mention there are digital vouchers up for grabs for the top 5 winners? So come along and test out who knows the most fun facts around the world!
Date: Friday September 25th
Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm
