Hi my name is Ruiying Xia and I am studying for master of information system at UoM right now. I am a Chinese and Korean host for last and this semester. It’s great to see you on classes and make friends with me! lol


I am Studying Master of Education in Melbourne Uni, I am passionate about teaching, specially I enjoy a lot teaching my native language to others, classes are focused on conversation and learning the ‘Latinos’ or Spanish culture.


My name’s Jason and I’m from rural Victoria. I’m currently studying a BSc in Maths. Aside from learning and teaching German, I usually spend my free time on things like reading, creative writing, drawing, painting, gaming, programming, and exploring walking trails. I really enjoy supporting people in learning new skills, especially maths and languages.


Originally from QLD, for better or for worse I’m now doing Master’s (IR) here in Melbourne! Enjoy languages, sport, and beer – and am a master procrastinator.

Bonjour! My name is Julia Duncan, and I have been learning French since 2012. I now study it at university. It’s a beautiful language, and I always enjoy speaking it. I am very enthusiastic about languages – I also study Russian and Arabic. I think that one of the most rewarding aspects of language study is the many opportunities it gives you to meet and converse with others, and to better understand their perspectives. I also like reading, playing classical guitar and knitting. I look forward to meeting you this semester!

Hiroto – Australia born Japanese, frequenting Japan for travel from a young age. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Science specialising in Pure Mathematics, and plans to take a Masters in Teaching in the future.

Myungein Han , currently studying master’s of biomedical engineering at University of Melbourne. Finished bachelor’s of Chemistry in France at Paris Diderot University. 24 years old. My hobby is reading comics and I love horror movies. By learning French as a second language, I learned how difficult it is to learn other language that is not your mother tongue. So, I have started teaching korean in 2017 February till now at Language Exchange club at University of Melbourne. I have experience in 1 year of teaching in beginner level and I am currently teaching advanced beginner at LEC every……….


“Hello, I am David, I am from an Italian family and I have studied Italian since year 7. I have attained fluency in Italian and thoroughly enjoy passing on my knowledge of Italian, one of the most beautiful languages, to anyone willing to learn. At unimelb I am studying a commerce degree. Outside of uni I love cooking, especially sweets and pastries (including delicious Sicilian canolli!)
